SHOULD THE NATION BE CONCERNED WITH ISSUES OF SECURITY?

I believe a lot of us are concerned with what the country has turned into now. It wont go unnoticed as to how many people now live in fear. It wasn't long ago that we lost a great man to a war we have long been fighting. Captain Mahama (His soul Rest In Peace), was wrongfully accused and mobbed despicably to death. Earlier today, news reaching me is that a 25 year old guy has been stabbed to death by a friend over (30) Thirty Ghana Cedis. The incident which occurred at Aboabo Mempeasem within the Asokore Mampong municipality  in the Ashanti region around 9 a.m this morning. An eye witness said the deceased called Amos Ekow believed to be the son of the Assemblyman of the area owed Kwadwo Afriyie the accused and Kwadwo threatened to kill him. True to Kwawo's words, Ekow has been found dead with a scissors stabbed twice to his chest. The alleged killer, Kwadwo Afriyie has been arrested and is being processed legally.
The questions keep rising up; Why do people take the law into their own hands, Is it that citizens of this great nation do not have faith in the security and the judicial system, or should I say the Ghanaian people are just lawless? with that has taken place in the country, notwithstanding the politics that people associate with current affairs, it is in my opinion that we all become each others keeper. We can continue to play the "it's not my matter" for as long as we want to, but for how long until we fall victims. I cannot do without you.
Until freedom within is truly attained, let us not become adamant to the truth. "Arise Ghana's Youth for your country...", Long live Ghana.
